So the news is officially out from Turgwe now… my sweet baby hippo Peaches, age 3 1/2 years, died on January 26, believed to be due to a mambo bite. She was not poached or harmed by humans, which is a relief, but she was still my little foster baby, and I loved her.Her hippo mummy, Cheeky has been mourning her death, and I know she loves and misses a million times more than I could.
